Emerging Young Leader Awards launch today

Emerging Young Leader Awards (EYLA) 2011 is an initiative of National Institute of Business Management in collaboration with Ministry of Youth Affairs and Skills Development to celebrate the International Year of Youth (August 2010 to August 2011) proclaimed by United Nations.

EYLA 2011 consists of a series of events with the launching ceremony scheduled for 11 February at NIBM auditorium under the patronage of Minister of Youth Affairs and Skills Development Dullas Allahapperuma and many distinguished gussets.

EYLA 2011 aims to search for and recognise young individuals with superior leadership qualities who stand afar from other youth in the society and present them with a prestigious award to give them sustainable notice.

Emerging young leaders are the next generation leaders who would lay foundations, plan events, manage organisations, build governments and enrich the culture and society of Sri Lanka and EYLA 2011 provides them a timely boost by giving them the encouragement and judicious recognition in early stages of their youth life.
