DIMO, Standard Chartered Bank shine brightest at CSR awards

The Best Corporate Citizen Sustainability Awards organised by the Ceylon chamber of Commerce was successfully concluded last night with DIMO and Standard Chartered Bank outshining the rest.

The event stepped into its 10th year of corporate excellence by recognising the best corporate citizens of the country over the years. In his welcome address, CEO/Secretary General of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce Harin Malwatte said: “Ten years is relatively a short period in our 175 years of history, which we celebrate next year. My congratulations to tonight’s winners and hope that the leadership and examples provided by you will create interest amongst many others to apply for the awards and be recognised.” The highlight of the event was the recognition of the 10 best corporate citizens for 2013.There were also a number of special category awards.
