Deputy Minister Faiszer Musthapha tours Malaysia

Deputy Minister of Investment Promotion Faiszer Musthapha participated at the 4th International Forum of the United Malays National Organisation (UMNO) representing President Mahinda Rajapaksa on 2 and 3 December in conjunction with the UMNO’s Annual General Assembly 2013.

The Malaysian Prime Minister and the President of UMNO Dato Sri Mohd Najib Tun Abdul Razak inaugurated the international forum. During this visit Deputy Minister Faiszer Musthapha also held talks with his Malaysian counterpart YB Datuk IR Hamim Samuri on the investment opportunities in Sri Lanka particularly the leisure and hospitality sector, infrastructure and urban development sector and aviation sector. He also extended his invitation to his Malaysian counterpart YB Datuk IR Hamim Samuri who expressed his willingness to visit Sri Lanka with a trade and investment delegation.

Deputy Minister Faiszer Muthapaha also met President of the Malaysia-Sri Lanka Business Council and Dialog Axiata Group Malaysia Chairman Datuk Azzat Kamaluddin and group of potential investors.
