Commercial Bank to open 63 branches on Maha Sivarathri Day

The Commercial Bank of Ceylon has announced that 63 branches and service points will be kept open for business on Maha Sivarathri day, Thursday, 27 February, a bank holiday, for the convenience of the bank’s customers. While the bank’s 26 Supermarket Banking Centres and 20 365-day branches will work their customary hours, another 17 branches will be open from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on that day, which is a statutory public and bank holiday, the bank said. These 17 branches are Wellawatte, Colpetty, Kotahena, Maharagama, Borella, Nugegoda, Narahenpita, Battaramulla, Panchikawatte, Union Place, Wattala, Dehiwala, Kiribathgoda, Avissawella, Piliyandala, Foreign branch and Main Street (Colombo 1).
