Commercial Bank rewards ‘e-Exchange’ recipients

A large number of recipients of remittances via Commercial Bank’s ‘e-Exchange’ instant money transfer service were generously rewarded by the bank during an ‘Avurudu’ promotion for the facility.

Valuable ‘e-Exchange’ branded gifts were presented by bank officials at special events conducted at the Bank’s Kurunegala Remittance Centre and its Ambalangoda, Anuradhapura and Batticaloa branches. All beneficiaries of remittances via ‘e-Exchange’ between 1 and 15 of April 2011 were rewarded at these events.

Activities aimed at enhancing interaction with users of ‘e-Exchange’ included an ‘Avurudu Kema Mesaya’ at chosen locations of the bank with special delicacies made for the Sinhala and Tamil New Year. A mini ‘Avurudu’ Festival was also conducted at the bank’s Kurunegala Remittance Centre.
