The Ceylon National Chamber of Industries (CNCI), the premier Chamber for the industry in the country, in a statement yesterday praised the efforts of the reformist Government led by President Maithripala Sirisena in striving to enforce good governance and implement the 100-day work program leading to people’s expectations at all levels. CNCI is the pioneering industry Chamber in Sri Lanka and it was established over five and a half decades ago, after the independence of Sri Lanka and was incorporated by a special Act of Parliament. The Chamber CNCI serves as the foremost service facilitator to the Sri Lankan Industry. The Chamber further added that, in appreciation of the importance of the SME sector in the country and their problems, the prospective concessions to be extended by the Government under the 100-day work program to SMEs in making them financially viable is certainly praiseworthy. CNCI gave its commitment and co-operation to the Government in its move forward to bring prosperity and peace based on a shared vision while congratulating Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe, the Cabinet of Ministers, State Ministers and Deputy Ministers.
