With reference to the announcement titled ‘CEAT partners AIESEC for major Youth Empowerment initiative in Sri Lanka’ published in yesterday’s issue of the Daily FT, we wish to inform readers that CEAT – Kelani Associated Holdings is a 50:50 Indo-Sri Lanka joint venture between the RPG Group of India and Kelani Tyre – Sri Lanka, and is not majority-owned by the RPG Group as erroneously mentioned in the publication. The erroneous mention was made by the company in its original announcement.
