Ceylon Chamber seminar on Budget today

The Ceylon Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual seminar on the National Budget on today, 12 November, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Ground Floor Auditorium of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, Nawam Mawatha, Colombo 2.

S.R. Attygalle, Deputy Secretary to the Treasury, Ministry of Finance is scheduled to speak on Policy Direction and Overview of the Budget 2013, while H.B.A. Seneviratne, Senior Deputy Commissioner General of the Inland Revenue Department will speak on Taxation Proposals of Budget 2013.

The Private Sector Perspectives on Budget 2013 will be discussed by Manjula de Silva, Managing Director, HNB Assurance PLC, which will be followed by a Panel Discussion and an open forum. In addition to the presenters the panel will comprise Ronnie Peiris, Chairman Tax Committee, Ceylon Chamber of Commerce, Dhammika Gunatilaka, Commissioner IRD/ Tax Advisor, Ministry of Finance, D. Hulangamuwa, Head of Tax Services & Partner, Ernst & Young Sri Lanka, and N. R. Gajendran, Senior Partner, Gajma & Co.
