Certis Lanka Group celebrates 35 years of ‘securing your world’

Commercial and industry security specialists, Certis Lanka Group celebrated 35 years last Friday, since commencing operations by rewarding its employees. Certis Lanka Group offers a myriad of different services and is the market leader in manpower security services in Sri Lanka.  

To commemorate their 35th anniversary, Certis Lanka felicitated their employees across the group for various achievements and contributions to the company over the years. In celebration of this significant milestone in the group’s history, the company has identified 15 award categories to reward its employees.  The event was graced by Speaker Chamal Rajapaksa.

The criteria considered to select these award winners were areas such as performance, knowledge based examinations, number of years in service, customer feedback, discipline and participation in company extra-curricular activities.  

Some of the main award categories were employee of the year, nurse of the year, driver of the year, courier of the year, security officer of the year and longest serving employee of Certis Lanka, among others.        

Commenting on the occasion, Vipul Hettige, Group Chief Executive Director/ CEO at Certis Lanka Group said, “We are proud to commemorate 35 years of serving as commercial and industrial security specialists. Starting from humble beginnings, the company, today, is over 6500 employees strong and operates island-wide.  “Serving our customers with state-of-the-art technology and operational expertise from Certis CISCO in Singapore, we provide the best solutions and continue to innovate. The awards recognise employees who have contributed to the growth of the business over the years.”

Commencing operations in 1977 as Key Security Services (Pvt) Ltd, the company entered into a joint venture with Certis CISCO owned by the government of Singapore. Certis Lanka Group operates as an independent entity providing variety of services in Sri Lanka.
