Reopening of the Jaffna Railway station will pave way for a new economic and social awakening by helping to overcome the infrastructure and livelihood barriers to developing the socio-economic setting of the region. As a result of this BOC’s Corporate Social Responsibility Project, the ‘Yal Devi’ train to Jaffna will soon be ready to recommence her traditional duty as the train that reconnects the North with the South after three decades of war.
