Another Director quits Blue Diamonds

Hot on the heels of the CEO’s resignation, another Director of Blue Diamonds Jewellery worldwide Plc, W.D.J.R. Silva, has resigned from the Board. The resignation was with effect from 31 January 2014 and no reasons were given for the move. Darshan T. Jayanetti has resigned as the CEO of Blue Diamonds with effect from 28 January. He was appointed CEO in July 2013 after Asanga Karunaratna quit from the post in February same year. No reasons were given for the resignation of Jayanetti.
