Amunugama presides at ESCAP sessions

Senior Minister Dr. Sarath Amunugama will lead the Sri Lanka delegation to the annual sessions of ESCAP to be held in Bangkok from Monday to Wednesday this week.



Dr. Amunugama is the current Chairman of the Annual Conference, having been elected to this post in May last year.  He will be accompanied by several senior Treasury officials.

The meeting will be opened by Yingluck Shinawalra, Prime Minister of Thailand.

Dr. Amunugama is expected to have several bilateral meetings as well.  He will also chair a high level consultation entitled ‘G20 Maxico Summit : Perspective from Asia Pacific’.
