Webinar on 4 April on ChatGPT and opportunities for finance and investment industry

The CFA Society Sri Lanka is to host a knowledge-sharing webinar in association with Dialog Enterprise under the theme “ChatGPT: Exploring the Buzz, the Evolution and the Prospects in Finance and Investments” on Tuesday, 4 April 2023 3.00 p.m. to 4.30 (SL time).

The main backdrop of the webinar is the emergence of ChatGPT and how large language models (LLMs) have become a defining aspect of the current zeitgeist. It is evident that these LLMs bring forth significant opportunities and potential pitfalls for the finance and investment management industries.

During this session, participants will delve into the origins and hype surrounding ChatGPT, discussing ways to effectively integrate this cutting-edge technology into finance and investment management. Additionally, the webinar will explore the role of artificial intelligence (AI) in powering ChatGPT and LLMs, while also looking ahead to the next stages of AI-driven advancements in investment management. The main speakers are Dialog Axiata PLC Group Chief Analytics and AI Officer Dr. Romesh Ranawana and CFA Institute Industry Research Senior Director Larry Cao whilst CFA CE Events and Scholarship committees Director/Chairman Thilan Sampath will moderate the session.
