Two all-time record prices for Ceciliyan Tea Factory

Ceciliyan Tea Factory situated in Kalawana, Ratnapura, established two all-time record prices at this week’s tea auction held on 22 June. A price of Rs. 2,400 per kg for a PD in the Dust Category was achieved along with a price of Rs. 2,150 per kg for a PF1 grade in the CTC Low category. These invoices of tea were purchased by Heritage Teas Ltd. and Venture Tea respectively. 

Ceciliyan Tea Factory is managed by Ceciliyan Associates Ltd., and the sale was conducted by tea broker John Keells PLC.
