Trinco farmers contribute to ‘Rebuilding Sri Lanka’ Fund

Registered farmer organisations under the Trincomalee District Office of the Department of Agrarian Development have donated over Rs. 3.7 million to the Government’s ‘Rebuilding Sri Lanka’ Fund.

The relevant cheque was handed over to the Secretary to the President Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake by Trincomalee District Office Chief Management Services Officer Kandaiyah Neminathan and District Farmers’ Organisation Chairman B. P. Takshila Deshapriya on the instructions of the Trincomalee District Assistant Commissioner of the Agrarian Development Department Nesaraththinam Vishnudasan.
