Tradefirst staff take part in outbound training

Tradefirst Ltd., the leading material supplier in the signage and outdoor advertising industry in Sri Lanka, conducted an outbound training program for its staff in Kitulgala recently.  

The objective of the program was to motivate the staff of the company and develop interpersonal communication, positive thinking, team work, self-confidence and leadership through outbound training as a part of their annual corporate training program.   A two-day event was held in Kitulgala recently where all team members participated in adventure activities such as white water rafting, trekking, stream sliding, confidence jumping, waterfalls sliding, river floating, zip liner and hiking while also engaging in group activities, various exercises and brainstorming sessions.  Tradefirst Director/CEO M.T.M. Lukman said that outbound training has become an inherent part of corporate training to uncover the hidden talents of the employees and improve the art of teamwork and skills in order to apply their experiences in a manner that delivers results in the workplace. He further added, “In today’s competitive world, we believe that continuously providing high-quality training opportunities and different learning experiences to the employees, is crucial to nurturing their talents and grooming them into dynamic leaders and active contributors and we as part of our company’s long term strategy and in order to further consolidate its position as the market leader in the industry will continue to invest in our staff and various personality development projects so that they would contribute to the holistic growth of the company.”
