Tess Agro PLC has commissioned a 380 kWp Rooftop Solar PV Power Project at its warehouse facility in Kerawalapitiya, further expanding its renewable energy footprint.
In a statement, the company said the project was connected to the national grid on 15 January 2026. The testing phase and load balancing were completed on 16 February.
The total investment for the project amounts to Rs. 60 million.
Following the latest installation, Tess Agro’s aggregate Solar PV capacity has increased to 460 kWp.
The company said the initiative forms part of its ongoing sustainability strategy and commitment to renewable energy adoption. The project is expected to support reductions in operational energy costs and carbon emissions, while contributing to long-term value creation for shareholders.
