Tax expert joins LOLC Group plantation companies’ Boards

Kanthimany Sivanesan

LOLC Group listed companies Tea Smallholders Factories PLC, Hapugastenne Plantations PLC, and Udapussellawa Plantations PLC have appointed Kanthimany Sivanesan to their Boards as Independent Non-Executive Director.

Sivanesan is a distinguished tax practitioner in Sri Lanka and currently serves as the Senior Partner and Head of Tax at Amerasekera and Co., Chartered Accountants. With over 25 years of extensive experience in taxation, he is widely recognized for his expertise in tax advisory, compliance, and regulatory matters.

He holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Commerce from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura and is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (CA Sri Lanka). He is also a member of the Institute of Certified Management Accountants of Sri Lanka (CMA Sri Lanka).

Sivanesan serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director on the Boards of Browns Investments PLC, LOLC Holdings PLC, LOLC Life Assurance Ltd., and Agstar PLC. In addition, he is a Director and Shareholder of Waharaka Energy Ltd.
