The Management Club (TMC) Colombo will host an interactive seminar titled “Condominium Properties – Issues and Concerns for Stakeholders” on 24 March 2026 from 2.45 p.m. to 6.30 p.m. at the Mahogany Hall of the Cinnamon Grand Hotel, Colombo. As the sector continues to expand rapidly, the need to better understand condominium ownership, property management, construction-related concerns and legal implications has become increasingly important for purchasers, owners, developers, sellers and financial institutions.

Recognising the growing importance of the sector, TMC Colombo has organised this seminar to provide a platform for industry experts to share their knowledge and insights on key issues that impact condominium ownership, development and management. The session will also help financial institutions gain a clearer understanding of the legal aspects of accepting condominiums—both registered and unregistered—as securities and the challenges relating to recoveries.

The panel of resource persons will include senior legal practitioner Ajithaa Edirimane, who specialises in condominium property law; Immediate Past President of the Institute of Architects of Sri Lanka Dr. Rohana Bandara Herath; and Chartered Professional Engineer and former Havelock City Project Manager Elmo Fernando. Officials from the Urban Development Authority and the Condominium Management Authority are also expected to participate.

Tilakawardena Supreme Court of Sri Lanka former Judge and currently a Consultant to the Judges’ Institute Justice Shiranee will attend the event as the Guest of Honour. The Main Sponsor of the seminar is Capital Trust Properties Ltd., a leading real estate company in Sri Lanka.
