Ambassador of Sri Lanka in Poland Priyangika Dharmasena attended the opening ceremony of the 11th edition of the World Food Poland on 8 April held at the Expo XXI in Warsaw and met with Sri Lankan companies, namely “Ceylon Tea Land Pvt Ltd” and “CIC Agri Produce Export” who participated at the fair.
Ceylon Tea Land Pvt Ltd showcased and promoted pure Ceylon black, green, herbal, flavoured and organic teas, and CIC Agri Produce Export promoted varieties of healthy rice. The companies were optimistic of finding buyers for their products, building new connections with related sectors at the fair.
The WorldFood Poland held from 8-10 April, is recognised as the largest B2B fair in Poland for the food industry, offering business matchmaking, conferences, debates, competitions, and live shows. It is an annual international trade exhibition held in Warsaw, dedicated to food, beverage, retail, and HoReCa industries and serves as a platform for professionals to connect, network. It also explored the latest trends and innovations in the food sector.
Over 6,800 food and beverage buyers and industry professionals as well as approximately 300 exhibitors from 30 countries participated in the fair this year.
