Sri Lanka’s food and beverage promoted at Singapore’s FHA Exhibition

Ceylon tea, coconut products and drinking water were promoted in the Food and Hotel Asia (FHA) food and beverage exhibition, at Expo Singapore from 8 to 11 April.

The opening ceremony of the event took place at the Singapore Expo on 8 April with the Singapore’s Minister of State, Ministry of Trade and Industry Alvin Tan as the Guest of Honour. High Commissioner of Sri Lanka to Singapore, and Minister (Commercial) attended the opening ceremony of the FHA exhibition and visited all Sri Lankan booths. They appreciated the participant companies for promoting Ceylon tea, coconut products and drinking water. The High Commission also took steps to facilitate the Sri Lankan companies by inviting potential importers to visit their booths and by arranging B2B meetings. The four Sri Lankan companies participated were Stassen Exports Ltd., NDC exports Ltd., Sugano Colombo Ltd. and Eins Water Distributors.

The FHA is Asia’s leading food and beverage exhibition held annually in Singapore. This exhibition serves as a dynamic platform to explore the latest trends, innovations, and business opportunities, bringing together industry professionals in the food and beverage sector around the world on a single platform. More than 1,600 exhibitors representing 50 countries are participating this year at this event, which drew over 65,000 attendees from both local and international markets.
