Sir Mark Tucker to address SLID forum tomorrow

Former HSBC Holdings Group Chairman and currently AIA Group Independent Non-Executive Chairman and Non-Executive Director Sir Mark Tucker will be in Sri Lanka from 9–10 March.

During his visit, he will deliver the keynote address at the forum “Reconnecting to Capital, and Repositioning Sri Lanka in a Fragmenting World,” organised by the Sri Lanka Institute of Directors, on Tuesday, 10 March 2026, from 4.30 p.m. at the Port City Colombo Sales Gallery.

Following the keynote, Sir Mark Tucker will join a panel discussion with Indrajit Coomaraswamy, Chairman of LYNEAR Wealth Management and former Governor of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka, a leading economist with extensive experience in monetary policy, financial markets, and investment strategy.

The session will be moderated by Commercial Bank Managing Director/CEO Sanath Manatunge and AIA Insurance Lanka Director/CEO Chathuri Munaweera.
