Shalindra Fernando
CT Land Development PLC has appointed Shalindra Fernando as Chief Executive Officer with effect from 16 January 2026.
Fernando is a seasoned C-suite executive with over 18 years of senior leadership experience across FMCG, fashion retail, beverages, enterprise technology, and international consulting.
He has held Chief Executive Officer, Chief Operating Officer, General Manager, and Chief Revenue Officer roles in many privately held organisations, with full P&L responsibility and extensive board and stakeholder engagement.
Prior to his appointment, Fernando served as Senior Vice President and Chief Revenue Officer of MillenniumIT ESP Ltd., where he drove sustained double-digit revenue growth, led international market expansion, and strengthened enterprise sales and channel partnerships across Asia-Pacific and the Middle East.
He has previously served as CEO of multiple operating companies within diversified conglomerates, delivering successful turnarounds, margin expansion, and scalable growth.
Fernando has significant international exposure, having led large multi-country operations across South Asia and emerging markets, managing teams exceeding 600 employees. He began his career with Unilever Sri Lanka and Coca-Cola Sabco, and spent nearly a decade with Triumph International, a global apparel multinational, in senior general management roles across Sri Lanka, India, and South Asia.
He holds an MBA from the University of Southern Queensland, a Bachelor of Science from the University of Colombo, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Marketing from the Chartered Institute of Marketing (UK). He has also completed executive leadership programs at Wharton and INSEAD.
