Ruwan ends 40-year stint at EY, Manil to take over leadership

Ernst & Young (EY) Country Managing Partner Ruwan Fernando will retire from the partnership with effect from 30 June after a period of 40 years with the firm.



EY – Sri Lanka announced that Manil Jayesinghe, who has been with the firm for 38 years, will take over as the Country Managing Partner with effect from 1 July.

EY’s practice will now be carried on by Jayesinghe (Country Managing Partner and Head of Assurance), Ranil de Saram, Nishamani Ajantha de Silva, Yasmin Anoji de Silva, Wickramasosage Rajeev Harindra de Silva, Weerawaruna Kurukulasooriya Boosabaduge Sanath Prasitha Fernando, Kaleesha Roshini Marian Fernando, Ladduwa Kovisge Hiranthi Lanka Fonseka, Head of Human Resources and Head of Quality & Risk Management Aasiri Prabath Abeywickrema Gunasekera, Head of Advisory Services Arjuna Herath, Head of Tax Services Duminda Kaluwalgoda Hulangamuwa, Averil Anne Ludowyke, Gayathri Geethanjali Seneviratne Manatunga, Amarasinghe Arachchige Jude Rajith Perera, Pannila Vithana Koralalage Nayana Sajeewani, Nishtar Muhammed Sulaiman and Head of Strategy and Transactions Buwanesh Ediriweera Wijesuriya. 

George Brian Goudian and Thanthirige Praveen Manojith Ruberu will function as Principals of the Firm.
