Rasith Wickramasingha joins Convenience Foods’ Board

Convenience Foods (Lanka) PLC has appointed to Rasith Wickramasingha to its Board as a Non-Executive Director.

Wickramasingha is a qualified Engineer by profession. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical and Electronics from the Victoria University of Technology, Australia, in addition to a BSc in Baking Technology Management from London South Bank University, UK. Prior to joining the CBL Group, he served in several large corporates in Australia, such as G.E and Odonnel Griffin, contributing his expertise in the design, execution and management of large-scale turnkey electrical, automation and infrastructure projects.

Wickramasingha entered his family venture, CBL, in 2009 and currently serves as the Group Director, overseeing diverse functions including Research and Development, Production, Quality Assurance, Engineering and IT as Cluster Head of CBL. He also plays a pivotal role in ensuring sustainable growth of the Group’s confectionery cluster.
