As Radisson Blu Galadari Colombo prepares for its landmark transformation from Galadari Colombo to Radisson Blu, the hotel has announced the launch of “Race to the Blu Future – Careers Open Day”, a large-scale recruitment initiative designed to attract top hospitality talent ahead of its highly anticipated reopening.
The Careers Open Day will take place on 5 and 6 February 2026, welcoming experienced hospitality professionals to explore career opportunities with a globally recognised brand. The recruitment drive targets key operational departments including Front Office, Food and Beverage Service, Culinary, Housekeeping, Engineering, and other essential hotel functions.

In a move that redefines mass recruitment practices within Colombo’s hospitality sector, Radisson Blu Galadari Colombo is introducing a technology-driven, AI-enabled global recruitment platform to streamline applicant tracking and enhance candidate experience—marking a first-of-its-kind, trend-setting approach in the local industry.
The event also marks the official launch of Race to the Blu Future, the hotel’s dedicated career and talent development platform. Designed to nurture future hospitality leaders, the platform will evolve to offer structured development pathways, including BluStart (Hotel School Trainees) and BluNext (Management Trainees).
Born from the success of RHG Career Fest 2025, which received a global award for Most Creative External Activation, Race to the Blu Future underscores Radisson Blu Galadari Colombo’s commitment to innovation in talent acquisition and people development.
