Prym Intimates, a division of the Germany-based William Prym Group, has opened its newest manufacturing facility in Hung Yen, Vietnam, in close proximity to Hanoi.
The plant commenced operations on 3 March 2026 and marks the company’s fourth manufacturing location globally.
The William Prym Group, established in 1530, is one of the world’s oldest family-owned industrial companies operating four divisions at present, with Prym Intimates serving the global intimate apparel sector.
Prym Intimates specialises in manufacturing accessories used in intimate apparel, including components for bras and related products and operates manufacturing facilities in Sri Lanka, China and Indonesia.
The new Vietnam facility strengthens Prym Intimates’ global production network, enabling the company to serve intimate apparel brands and vendors across key sourcing regions. With manufacturing spanning four countries, customers can source accessories closer to their garment production locations, helping reduce lead times and increase supply chain flexibility.
