Pradeepa Pranama 2025: Honouring excellence and service to the nation

The University of Sri Jayewardenepura has announced that the prestigious “Pradeepa Pranama – 2025” awards ceremony will be held on 27 March, at the Waters Edge Hotel, Battaramulla. This landmark event will take place under the distinguished patronage of Prime Minister and Minister of Education, Higher Education, and Vocational Education Dr. Harini Amarasuriya, who will grace the occasion as the Chief Guest. The university will also be honoured by the presence of its revered Chancellor, Most Venerable Dr. Ittapana Dhammalankara Thero, as the Guest of Honour.

The Pradeepa Pranama awards are a tribute to the university’s outstanding alumni who have made exceptional contributions to their respective sectors and to the nation. This prestigious recognition highlights the diverse achievements of graduates who continue to embody the values of leadership, innovation, and service instilled by their alma mater.
