Plastics and Rubber Institute of Sri Lanka launches “Insights for Managerial Excellence”

The Plastics and Rubber Institute of Sri Lanka (PRISL) recently organised a virtual event to officially launch the publication “Insights for Managerial Excellence” into its website: https://prisrilanka.com/index.php/publication.

A distinguished gathering comprising the council of management of the PRISL, past presidents, prominent industrialists, and well-wishers participated in the event. 

The publication was compiled by PRISL Vice President P.P. Perera who is also Management Counsellor, using the articles he has published in the international magazines, Tyre Trends, Rubber Asia, Tyre Asia and the Annual Journals of the PRISL during the past few years. 

The articles which reflects the knowledge and experience, acquired during his long career in the industry in Sri Lanka and Kenya, are intended open up fresh insights for the modern managers to look within themselves in order to improve their personal effeteness’ as managers. An effort has been made to blend the traditional wisdom of the East with the modern management, to make the latter more holistic and sustainable.

PRISL President Kalayana Dhirasekara, Assistant Secretary Pio Perera, Past Presidents Ananda Caldera and Kaushal Rajapaksa, publishers of Tyre Trends and Motoring Trends Pioneering Ideas and Networking PIN 365 President Antony Powath, Editor Sharad Malde and Hands Group Chairman Graetian Gunawardhana and classmate of the author addressed the gathering. Perera proposed the Vote of Thanks.

The publication will be available as a hard copy to be purchased from the PRISL in due course.
