The Colombo Fort Land and Building PLC has appointed Sunil Poholiyadde to its Board as a Non-Executive Director.
Poholiyadde is the Managing Director of Kotagala Plantations PLC, Agarapathana Plantations PLC and also the Managing Director of Lankem Tea and Rubber Plantations Ltd., (LTRP), the Managing Agents of the aforesaid plantation companies under the Colombo Fort Land Group. He has over four decades of experience in the Plantation Industry.
He is the current Chairman of the Planters’ Association of Ceylon, a Former Chairman of the Colombo Rubber Traders’ Association and has served as Chairman of the Plantation Services Group of the Employers Federation of Ceylon (EFC). He has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Sri Lanka Tea Board, the Rubber Research Board, and a council member of the Ceylon Chamber of Commerce.
Poholiyadde served as the former Managing Director of the Plantations Sector and Head of Group Human Resources of the Richard Pieris Group. He was also the former CEO/Executive Director of Kegalle Plantations PLC, Namunukula Plantations PLC, Maskeliya Plantations PLC and an Executive Director of AEN Palm Oil Processing Ltd.
