People’s Bank partners Western Provincial Council to offer concessional MSME loans

People’s Bank and the Western Provincial Council have signed an agreement to provide concessional loan facilities to Micro and Small Entrepreneurs in the Western Province at a low interest rate of 3%.

The signing ceremony was held recently at the Western Province Governor’s Office in Battaramulla, with the participation of Western Province Governor H.M. Hanif Yusoof, Chief Secretary K.G.P. Pushpakumara, Deputy Chief Secretary (Planning) Senaka P. Silva, People’s Bank Deputy General Manager – SME, Development and Micro Finance Wickrama Narayana, Assistant General Manager – Development and Micro Finance NalikaLiyanage, and other officials.

This partnership aims to support local entrepreneurs and strengthen economic growth across the Province.
