Serendib Land PLC has appointed Nirmalan Nagendra as its new CEO.
Nagendra has over 30 years of expertise in the global hospitality industry, with extensive experience in financial administration across five-star hotels in the USA, the Caribbean, the Middle East, and Singapore.
As a Director of Finance, he has developed a strong reputation for business acumen and strategic leadership. From 2008 to 2014, he served as Director of Finance at Park Hyatt Jeddah.
Currently, Nagendra is the Managing Director of N.N. Recruitment Consulting Ltd., where he advises organisations on attracting and recruiting top talent.
Since 2015, he has also served as a Consultant at KPMG, providing expert guidance on hotel development, investment, valuation, and performance improvement.
He is the creator of the ‘Commitment to Excellence Service Delivery Program’, a framework now widely recognised within the hospitality industry.
In addition, he has successfully undertaken assignments as General Manager, Human Resources Director, and in various other leadership roles, demonstrating his versatility and depth of expertise.
