Nilendra Weerasinghe joins Panasian Power Board

Panasian Power PLC yesterday announced the appointment of Nilendra Weerasinghe as an Independent Non-Executive Director.

Weerasinghe has over 15 years of experience in investment banking, corporate finance, and strategy. He currently serves as the Chief Financial and Strategy Officer at hSenid Business Solutions PLC, a listed global HR technology company, where he oversees finance, investor relations, and strategic growth initiatives.

Previously, Nilendra held senior leadership roles at NDB Investment Bank, where he was responsible for origination, structuring, and execution of IPOs, M&A, and capital raising transactions across Sri Lanka, Bangladesh, and the Maldives. He has successfully led 18 IPOs raising over $ 200 million and over 20 M&A transactions valued at over $ 300 million.

Nilendra has also been engaged in multiple corporate finance advisory assignments for local and multinational clients spanning sectors such as power generation, renewable energy, financial services, consumer, leisure, technology and real estate development.

Nilendra is a CFA Charterholder, holds an MBA in Strategy and Operations from the National University of Singapore, and has completed executive education in High Impact Leadership at INSEAD. His academic foundation also includes a B.Sc. in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Moratuwa.

With deep expertise in capital markets, energy-sector transactions, and strategic financial stewardship, Nilendra brings a proven ability to contribute to the governance, growth, and longterm value creation of companies.
