Nayana Mawilmada appointed to three JKH hotels boards

Three John Keells group companies yesterday announced the appointment of Nayana Mawilmada as Non-Executive Director to the boards of Trans Asia Hotels PLC, Asian Hotels and Properties PLC, and John Keells Hotels PLC.

Mawilmada is the President of the Leisure and Property industry groups at John Keells Holdings. Among his previous roles he has served as Urban Development Authority Director General, York Street Partners Managing Director, and an Asian Development Bank Urban Development Specialist based in Manila.

His academic training includes an MBA from Harvard Business School, a Master of City Planning from MIT, and Bachelor of Architecture from Hampton University, USA. He was awarded an Eisenhower Fellowship in 2017.
