Diesel & Motor Engineering PLC (DIMO) has appointed Natasha Boralessa to its Board as an Independent Non-Executive Director.
Boralessa currently serves as an Independent Non-Executive Director at BPPL Holdings PLC and Ceylinco Life Insurance Ltd. She brings over 25 years of senior leadership experience within the apparel manufacturing sector.
Most recently, she served as a Director at Brandix Apparel Ltd., where she led ESG, governance, legal, and risk management functions across operations in Sri Lanka, India, and Bangladesh.
As a member of the Brandix Leadership Team, she played a pivotal role in embedding sustainability and enterprise risk management into the company’s core business practices. She also spearheaded the development and publication of several award-winning ESG reports aligned with international standards.
From 2009 to 2011, Boralessa was the CEO of Ocean India. Prior to this, she served as CEO and Country Head of Stirling Group Ltd. from 2008 to 2009. Between 1997 and 2008, she held a series of progressively senior positions at Stretchline Ltd., including Marketing Executive, Marketing Manager, Marketing Director, General Manager, and ultimately CEO.
Boralessa is a member of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (UK) and holds the designation CGMA.
Her appointment to the DIMO Board takes effect on 1 December 2025.
