Dr. Damindra Ranjan Dissabandara |
Myland Developments PLC has appointed Dr. Damindra Ranjan Dissabandara to its Board as an Executive Director. He is an experienced business leader, academic, and mentor with over 25 years of multifaceted experience in corporate leadership, academia, and consultancy.
Dr. Damindra Ranjan Dissabandara holds a Doctorate in Business Administration from the University of Kelaniya, an MBA in Finance from the University of Colombo, and a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and International Trade from the University of Sri Jayewardenepura.
Dr. Dissabandara has held several senior leadership positions, including Managing Director of Finex Engineering Ltd., General Manager of Uga Escapes, and General Manager of Nivasie Developers Ltd., Associate Dean of the Faculty of Business at Informatics Institute of Technology (IIT). In these roles, he spearheaded strategic growth initiatives, expanded international market reach, and enhanced operational excellence. Earlier in his career, he contributed to financial and development management at the National Development Bank and the United Nations (UNFPA). Presently he serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Colombo City Holdings PLC.
He is a Certified Business Accountant of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka, a member of the Institute of Professional Financial Managers (UK), a member of the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM), and a certified Six Sigma Green Belt professional.
Alongside his corporate career, Dr. Dissabandara is an active visiting lecturer and guest speaker at leading universities and business forums, specialising in project management, strategic management, marketing, and leadership.
