A special meeting between the Industry and Entrepreneurship Development Minister Sunil Handunnetti, and Export Development Officers serving under the Ministry across the Southern, Western, and Sabaragamuwa provinces was held on 3 September at the premises of the Export Development Board (EDB).
The objective of the discussion was to update Export Development Officers on Sri Lanka’s export direction, review export targets, discuss regional development strategies, and provide a broader understanding of the functions of various divisions within the EDB.
The meeting was attended by the Industry and Entrepreneurship Development Deputy Minister Chathuranga Abeysinghe, EDB Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Mangala Wijesinghe, Acting Director General Erandika Dissanayake, along with directors, officials, and Export Development Officers representing the Southern, Western, and Sabaragamuwa provinces.
