Melstacorp PLC has divested 2 million shares amounting to a 0.04% stake in Distilleries Company of Sri Lanka PLC (DCSL) on 19 February.
The divestment was made at a price of Rs. 59.50 per share, giving Melstacorp Rs. 119 million from the sale.
Following the transaction, Melstacorp’s shareholding in DCSL decreased marginally from 92.44% to 92.40% with over 4 billion shares. Distilleries ended Friday down Rs. 0.30 at Rs. 59 and Melstacorp was down Rs. 1.75 to Rs. 181.25.
Melstacorp reported Rs. 131.99 in assets per share as of end-December 2025, and DCSL reported net assets of Rs. 4.14 per share.
