MTI Consulting, in their endeavour to enter the fast growing Latin American markets, has initiated a major market development drive. As part of this strategic frontier market strategy, MTI recently presented at the Latin American Conference of PKF, the global professional services firm. PKF has a strong network across the Latin American and Caribbean region.
“Having already signed up with PKF in Brazil, we are looking to expand our collaboration with PKF across the LATAM region. MTI has recently signed up MoUs with consultancies in Argentina, Belize, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Cuba, Guatemala, Mexico and Peru. This is a model that we are pursuing across the developing and frontier markets in Latin America and Asia,” said MTI Consulting CEO Hilmy Cader.
MTI Consulting has previously worked on two major assignments covering the Latin American Region. As part of their assignment for Limoneira, the largest lemon producer in North America, they have studied the potential market for citrus produce in the Latin American region. MTI has also worked on two assignments for Agribrands, which was at the stage a subsidiary of the US-based multi-national firm Ralston Purina.
According to the World Bank, despite the major impact of the pandemic, the economic outlook for Latin America and the Caribbean is expected to improve this year.
