Lanka IOC PLC has appointed K. Raghu to its Board as its Executive/Managing Director.

He replaces Dipak Das. Raghu is a graduate in B. Tech (Civil Engineering) and holds an MBA from the University of Pondicherry. With over 26 years’ expertise in the Petroleum Sector, he has an extensive experience in downstream petroleum marketing, retail strategy, and business leadership roles in Indian Oil Corporation Ltd., a Fortune 500 Global Company.

Raghu has held several key leadership positions across diverse and strategic geographies including Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, and Karnataka, successfully driving market share growth, retail network expansion, and operational transformation. Also, he has led the commissioning of high-volume company owned company operated (COCO) outlets, out of which was awarded the best outlet in the country across all Oil Marketing Companies by the Govt. of India. He introduced CNG infrastructure in new markets, spearheaded modernisation initiatives including retail automation and visual identity. Also, he strengthened accelerated sustainable mobility initiatives, including LNG stations and electric vehicle charging networks.

Currently, Raghu provides strategic direction to Lanka IOC PLC, focusing on growth, operational excellence, customer-centric innovation, and advancing sustainable energy solutions, while contributing significantly to the development of Sri Lanka’s petroleum sector.
