LAUGFS Gas releases 30,000 cylinders daily to meet festive demand

LAUGFS Gas PLC has commenced countrywide distribution, releasing approximately 30,000 LPG cylinders daily following the resumption of filling operations at both the Hambantota (HBT) and Mabima plants.

With both facilities operating in together, the company in a statement said is accelerating distribution to restore market availability and meet heightened demand.

LAUGFS Gas further assured uninterrupted LPG supply during the festive season, supporting domestic households, as well as hotels, restaurants, and industrial users.

This initiative forms part of a broader supply stabilisation plan, with continued operations and shipments ensuring consistent availability in the days ahead, the statement added.
