South Asia’s leading textile sourcing platform, Intex, together with InMac, the dedicated textile and garment technology exhibition, will return to the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) from 5 to 7 August, bringing together the global textile and apparel industry under one roof.
The landmark exhibition reinforces Sri Lanka’s position as a leading destination for textile sourcing, apparel manufacturing, and industrial innovation.
Intex-InMac Sri Lanka 2026 is endorsed by several leading industry institutions and trade bodies, including the Sri Lanka Export Development Board (EDB), Industrial Development Board (IDB), the Embassy of Indonesia in Sri Lanka, the Joint Apparel Association Forum (JAAF) and its member associations, and the Sri Lanka – China Business Cooperation Council (SLCBCC), among others.
This year’s exhibition will feature more than 250 exhibitors representing over 15 countries and regions, showcasing the latest innovations across the textile and apparel value chain. Intex will present fashion fabrics, fibres, yarns, denim, trims, accessories, sustainable and functional textiles, chemicals, dyes, and textile processing solutions. Meanwhile, InMac will introduce next-generation garment machinery, Artificial Intelligence (AI)-enabled sewing systems, automated cutting and spreading technologies, digital printing solutions, factory automation, and smart manufacturing technologies designed to improve productivity while reducing manufacturing costs.
The event is expected to attract buyer delegations and trade visitors from more than 12 countries, creating valuable opportunities for international sourcing, technology partnerships, investment, and business expansion.

A key highlight of the exhibition will be the three-day Interactive Business Forum (IBF) Seminar Series, organised with the support of GTEX-ITC and the Moratuwa University Textile Association (MUTA). The forum will bring together internationally recognised industry experts and thought leaders to discuss emerging trends, technological advancements, and the future direction of Sri Lanka’s textile and apparel industry.
