The Infrastructure and Construction Exhibition (INFRACON 2026), a premier industry event dedicated to the country’s infrastructure and construction sectors, will take place from 3 to 5 July at the Sirimavo Bandaranaike Memorial Exhibition Centre (SBMEC), Colombo.
The event is organised by Lanka Exhibition and Conference Services Ltd., (LECS) a winner of multiple Presidential Awards in the MICE category and inductee into the MICE Hall of Fame, and Savor International Ltd., from Bangladesh, who is also an industry leader in the MICE sector in Bangladesh.
Previously known as the ‘Construction, Power and Energy Expo,’ the exhibition has now been rebranded as ‘INFRACON 2026,’ and is endorsed and supported by the American Society of Heating, Refrigerating and Air-Conditioning Engineers Sri Lankan Chapter (ASHRAE) and the Solar Industries Association (SIA), further strengthening its industry relevance.
INFRACON 2026 will bring together industry leaders, policymakers, developers, contractors, engineers, architects, and technology providers, while featuring organisations and suppliers from five major sectors consisting of HVAC-R and Cold Chain, Power and Energy, Green Grid, Safe Water, and Build Materials, which will be showcased within the exhibition as individual concurrent segments, serving as a catalyst for growth and collaboration in Sri Lanka’s rapidly evolving infrastructure landscape, with participation from leading local and international exhibitors, shaping the future of infrastructure development in Sri Lanka and the South Asian region.
With international participation from China, India, Pakistan, and Bangladesh, Savor International will elevate the event to a regional level, highlighting Sri Lanka as a growing hub for the MICE industry in the region, while Sri Lanka’s geographical location and growing hospitality sector makes her the meeting place of choice for industries such as infrastructure and construction to do business.
INFRACON 2026 is strategically designed as a business-to-business (B2B) driven platform, enabling direct engagement between exhibitors, buyers, investors, and industry stakeholders, where a business focused environment is crucial in facilitating meaningful partnerships, accelerating collaboration and creating new market opportunities within the South Asian region, further reinforcing its core purpose.
A dedicated online platform will be available for both exhibitors and foreign visitors/trade buyers, offering free registration and enabling seamless virtual engagement and collaboration, allowing participants to connect, network, and conduct business from anywhere in the world, and complementing this digital accessibility, the exhibition’s dedicated sector segmentation ensures more focused networking and direct access to targeted buyers, creating stronger and more meaningful business opportunities for exhibitors across both physical and virtual platforms.
To ensure strong local and international participation from trade visitors and buyers, LECS and Savor have implemented a comprehensive buyer coordination strategy, reinforcing the exhibition’s core B2B focus, including segmented targeting, direct invitations, personalised email outreach, consistent lead follow-ups, and strategic social media promotions, therefore ensuring the presence of relevant decision-makers and creating a results-driven environment for meaningful business interactions and deal-making.
With strong participation expected from Government institutions, private sector organisations, international brands, and trade delegations, INFRACON 2026 aims to foster collaboration across the infrastructure and construction sectors and position Sri Lanka as a regional hub for infrastructure development, while further strengthening industry-wide partnerships.
INFRACON 2026 is more than an exhibition, it is a knowledge sharing and networking platform that supports Sri Lanka’s vision for resilient, sustainable and future-ready infrastructure, where visitors will have the chance to engage with exhibitors through live demonstrations, product launches, and interactive displays showcasing modern, sustainable construction solutions, along with several panels discussions that will take place during INFRACON 2026, covering important and timely industry related topics, with speakers including major private sector players as well as public sector bureaucrats and policy makers.
The event is also proudly supported by its official sponsors, including Gold Sponsor C.W. Mackie PLC, Silver Sponsors AE Solar and Brantel Lanka Ltd., along with Silver Sponsor and Official PVC Partner Phoenix Super PVC, whose collective contribution further strengthens the industry backing and regional relevance of INFRACON 2026.
