As part of ongoing relief efforts for communities affected by Cyclone Ditwah, Hutch Sri Lanka has donated Rs. 60 million to the Government’s ‘Rebuilding Sri Lanka’ Fund. The contribution was officially handed over yesterday at the Presidential Secretariat.

The donation cheque was presented to Secretary to the President Dr. Nandika Sanath Kumanayake by Hutch officials, including Hutchison Asia Telecommunications Ltd., Hong Kong Project Director/Hutch Director Ann Chen and Hutch Sri Lanka CEO Saumitra Gupta.

In addition to the financial contribution, HUTCH has actively provided free calls, data and SMS services to those impacted by the cyclone.
