Half day “Total Quality Management” by NCCSL on 10 Feb.

The National Chamber of Commerce of Sri Lanka (NCCSL) has scheduled an insightful session titled “Total Quality Management” on Tuesday, 10 February from 09:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the National Chamber Auditorium. 

Sunil G Wijesinha will be the resource person for this session. He is a well–known promoter of Japanese techniques and productivity. He is a senior management practitioner and trainer with decades of experience in Total Quality Management, Kaizen, Quality Circles, 5S, and productivity improvement. He has served in senior leadership roles in major public sector institutions and has conducted numerous executive-level seminars and workshops across manufacturing, services, and the public sector. He has received many local and international awards for promoting productivity and quality.  

During the session, several vital topics will be discussed with examples from real life such as, evolution of TQM from Japan’s CWQC, meaning of “TOTAL” in Total Quality Management, external and internal customer focus and customer delight, continuous improvement in product and service, employee involvement as a strategy, quality circles and shop floor problem-solving, building quality into processes, leadership commitment and accountability, training, motivation, and engagement and steps in applying TQM in Sri Lankan organisations etc.

The audience will be from a wide spectrum of management from CEOs, COOs, department heads, managers, executives and trainees in any type of organisation such as manufacturing, and the public and private sector.
