Great Western Estate achieves new all-time record

At the Colombo Tea Auction held on 18-19 March, Great Western Estate surpassed its previous record of Rs. 1,850 and set a new all-time record of Rs. 2,550 for the Western High Grown BOP Grade. This tea was purchased by St. Clair Teas Ltd.

This estate is part of Talawakelle Tea Estates PLC, a subsidiary of Hayleys Group of Companies. This tea was successfully marketed by Asia Siyaka Commodities PLC.
