Glenanore Estate establishes all-time record price

An all-time record price of Rs. 2,200 per kg for an OP grade in the Uva High Category was obtained by Glenanore Estate at this week’s tea auction held 19 July. This invoice of tea was purchased by Ceylon Tea Marketing Ltd., and was marketed and sold by John Keells PLC.

Glenanore Estate, located in Haputale is well known for producing quality teas and this estate comes under the purview of Agarapatana Plantations Ltd.
