Glenanore Estate establishes all-time record price

An all-time record price of Rs. 2,650 per kg for a FBOP grade in the Uva High Category was obtained by Glenanore Estate in Haputale, at this week’s tea auction held on 22 June. This invoice of tea was purchased by Union Commodities Ltd.

Glenanore Estate is managed by Agarapatana Plantations Ltd., and the teas were marketed and sold by John Keells PLC.
