George Steuart and Company Ltd., has shed 10.22% of its stake in HVA Foods PLC for Rs. 88 million.
The stake amounting to 25 million shares had been sold in the market at prices ranging from a low of Rs. 3.50 and a high of Rs. 4 per share. The biggest block of 21 million shares were done at Rs. 3.50 each. The net asset value per share of HVA Foods is a negative Rs. 0.29 as at 31 March 2025, down from a negative Rs. 2.60 as end of FY24.
As at 31 March 2025, George Steuart held 82.6% stake in the HVA Foods. The public float of HVA Foods as at 31 March 2025 was 11.9% held by 3,492 shareholders.
