GCF Round 2 of Research Grants today

The Gamani Corea Foundation (GCF) will present Round 2 of the GCF Research Grants Awards on 18 December at the BMICH,

marking the second successive grant award scheme conducted by the Foundation.

A total of 22 research grants, comprising both team and individual awards, will be conferred under this round.

The GCF Research Awards 2025–2026 will prioritise economic research and multidisciplinary studies that bridge economics with the social sciences, management, and the humanities, with a strong emphasis on advancing economic development. The program seeks to promote high-quality, policy-relevant research on development issues, generating evidence to address key socio-economic challenges in

Sri Lanka.
